London Hardwood Club Terms and Conditions.

The London Hardwood Club is a not for profit organisation that was established in 1937 and today remains a unique opportunity for everyone connected with the hardwood trade to get together informally to discuss relevant issues on a regular basis. The London Hardwood Club Committee is made up of unpaid volunteers from the industry who give up their time freely in order to keep the Club alive. As such the London Hardwood Club Committee members do not assume any official capacity or liability.

Any discussions, presentations or opinions provided are given on an unofficial basis and are designed only to stimulate discussion. They do not reflect the opinion of the London Hardwood Club and should not be relied upon in any way by members in their future decision making when they return to their businesses.

Liability.

Whilst the London Hardwood Club takes due care with staging each event we shall not be liable to any participant for any personal injury, illness, loss or damage, whether direct or indirect , or any consequential loss whatsoever arising out of the Participant taking part in the event. All events are arranged using third party venues over which we have little jurisdiction. 

Warning – Risk of Covid -19.

Covid-19, often referred to as Coronavirus, is an infectious disease that can result in serious and potentially fatal illness. There is a risk of the transmission of Covid-19 in any environment where people come together. Experts state that this risk increases in enclosed spaces and with increased numbers of people. The World Health Organisation has advised that the elderly and those with certain underlying medical conditions are more vulnerable.

By attending any of our events Participants voluntarily accept and assume all the foregoing risks related to Covid-19 and accept sole responsibility for any injury or illness that may occur. The London Hardwood Club cannot be held responsible.

Participants also agree to:

• Abide by all current government guidance aimed at preventing the transmission of the virus.
• Follow all directions provided by London Hardwood Club Committee members, venue staff members and set out in any signage within the venue.

You must not attend any event if you believe that you may have been infected with Covid-19.
